A pink lake, how fascinating!

Did you know about the pink lake called Lake Retba in Senegal? It is pink due to its super high salt content that supports the growth of a red pigmented microorganism that turns the water pink. The color changes to different shades of pink throughout the year. I think this lake deserve a visit, don´t you think?. Lake Retba is already add to my list of places to visit in the future. 

¿Habiaís oido hablar de un lago rosa llamado Lago Retba en Senegal? Es de color rosa debido a sus altas concentraciones de sal que apoya el crecimiento de un microorganismo pigmentado de color rojo que vuelve de color rosa el agua. El color cambia a distintos tonos de rosa durante todo el año. Creo que se merece una visita, no creeis? Lago Retba ya lo he añadido a mi lista de lugares para visitar en el futuro.
