Roti Chai, London.

You can find Roti Chai Indian Street Kitchen, between Bond Street and Marble Arch in Portman Mews South.

Upstairs is the "Street Kitchen", open all day, a bright space decorated with colourful packets of Indian ingredients and with a menu offering a lively selection of the street food from India. Downstairs is the "Dining Room", open in the evening only, a darker space with mock-industrial decor; the menu here offers street food as starters, then a short selection of larger main-course curries from the Indian regions.

The restaurant is open from noon until late serving street food snacks like chicken lollipops, papri chaat and seafood rasam. Don’t miss the bun kebab.

Roti Chai offers a variety of interesting snack-size plates at around the £5-£6.

En la planta de arriba está el "Street Kitchen", abierto todo el día, un espacio diáfano decorado con coloridos paquetes de ingredientes hindus y con un menú con una selección variada de la típica comida que puedes encontrar en los puestos de la calle. En la planta baja se encuentra el "Comedor", abierto por la noche sólo, un espacio oscuro con decoración industrial, el menú ofrece comida de la calle como entrantes, a continuación, una breve selección de principales más grande, por supuesto no falta el curry de diferentes regiones de la India.

El restaurante está abierto desde el mediodía hasta tarde, sirviendo snacks como piruletas de pollo, Papri chaat y marisco rasam. No te pierdas el pan de kebab.

Roti Chai ofrece una variedad de interesantes platos tamaño snack en torno a las 5 - 6 libras.

Chicken Lollipops are my favourite - crispy, spicy chicken wings. They are one of those dishes that it's just impossible to dislike, spicy, salty and crunchy.

Piruletas de pollo, mis favoritas - crujientes alitas pollo picante, fritas. Es uno de esos platos que es simplemente imposible que no te guste, picante, salado y crujiente.

Bhel Puri, just for £3.90. A puffed rice in tamarind and chilli dressing. Loose grains of crispy rice, is especially good.

Chicken Keema Kaleji served with pao bread. Is an bowl of minced chicken and chopped liver cooked in a masala sauce, the fresh veg on top provided some crunch.

Pollo Keema Kaleji servido con pan pao. Es un plato de pollo e hígado picado cocido en salsa masala, la verdura fresca en la parte superior hace que sea crujiente.

Papri Chaat: wheat crisps, potatoes, chick peas, yoghurt, tamarind chutney. The trick is to always have lots of yoghurt and lots of tamarind and lots of sev or ‘gram confetti’ sprinkled on top. Soooo good!!

Papri Chaat: patatas fritas de trigo, patatas, garbanzos, yogurt, chutney de tamarindo. El truco está en tener siempre un montón de yogur, de tamarindo y un montón de sev o "gramo confeti" por encima. Buenísimo!!
